Igor Lipinski ...... piano performance is magical ... Literally!

Igor Lipinski, born on 10th September 1986, from Tarnów, Poland. Lipinski received the Grand Prix Award at the Paderewski Competition for Young Pianists in Kasna Dolna, Poland at the age of 12. He graduated from the Paderewski High School in his hometown Tarnów. Lipinski earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance, Literature and Musical Arts at the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester where he studied piano under the tutelage of Prof. Douglas Humpherys.

Lipinski first visited the United States in 2004 at the invitation of Dr. Kazimierz Braun, Professor of Theatre at the University at Buffalo, where he played a featured role of a young pianist in a world premiere of “Paderewski’s Children”, a theatre play based on the life of the piano virtuoso and the prime minister of Poland Ignacy Jan Paderewski.

Lipinski maintains an active concert career in United States including recitals in New York City, Chicago and Las Vegas. He recently appeared with recitals at Steinway Concert Series at University of South Florida and St. Petersburg College Concert Series in Florida, Paso Robles Paderewski Festival in California, Polish Hall in Portland, Oregon, Lutkin Hall at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, Summer Concert Hall at the Paderewski’s Manor House in Poland, Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Chicago and Northeastern Illinois University as a recipient of the prestigious Kosciuszko Foundation Scholarship. In 2012, he made his Chicago theatrical debut as a featured pianist in TimeLine Theatre Company’s “33 Variations” – a theatre play based on Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations.

Inspired by 1839 Monologues Pianistiques, Franz Liszt’s first piano recitals, Lipinski announces his repertoire from the stage, actively involves the audience in the discussion about his musical selections and often features a surprising element of innovative & interactive illusions. Teller calls him an original: “He thrills you on the piano. He mystifies you with magical illusions. And he keeps you laughing with his impudent, charismatic charm.” The reviewer from Buffalo News highlights Lipinski’s unique approach to the concert stage: “As a pianist on the cusp of his career, Lipinski holds a special card in his hand. His performances are magical. Literally.”

Novanta (means Ninety), is an instrumental project post-rock, shoegaze and electronic devised and performed by Manfred Lamartina, from Palermo for a few years stationed in Milan. 

Why the name Novanta (nineties)? In the nineties, Layne Staley was still alive, Mark Kozelek staged his intimate drama called Red House Painters , Billy Corgan dreamed of a better rock , My Bloody Valentine gave a sense of the chaos and Mogwai beginning of a fantastic story arpeggios and crescendo. In the nineties there were the twin towers, the magical nights, tangentopoli, the massacres of the Mafia , Berlusconi and Prodi, the Italian Lira highly devalued, petroleum at $10 a barrel. In the nineties, Angelo Badalamenti composed the most beautiful soundtrack ever, while the great Lance Henriksen finally took a leading role with Millennium. In the nineties it was thought that a millennium of flying cars, teleport, space travel, and Star Wars only. That's why it's called Novanta (Ninety). A sort of musical commentary slow to remember the times that were and to tell the mood of those who expected a twenty-first century by different colours. Not surprisingly, Novanta (Ninety) is also the number that represents fear.

In February 2012 released "Bedroom metal", always as a free download, this time with the support of Zeit Interference / Lizard Records. In April 2013 comes "Crescendo", which sees the extraordinary (in every sense) the participation of Herself and Nazarene. In July 2013, the song "Get your fire" was selected for the summer compilation of Rockit. In September 2013“Abbi cura di me” (Take care of me) in Pluviôse compilation Seashell Records published in cassette and digital. In February 2014 another released "No captcha Song", a song made ​​on the occasion of the Day No Captcha.

The Record Company, is a rock/blues/roots trio based in Los Angeles. Steeped in the classic sounds of Muddy Waters and John Lee Hooker along with the raw rock and roll of The Stooges and The Yardbirds, The Record Company have burst onto the scene in a very short time.

Their live show has quickly become acclaimed throughout North America and has drawn capacity audiences from Los Angeles to Montreal. With their new EP Superdead, the band has been receiving strong airplay at AAA and college radio throughout the United States and Canada and have been featured on L.A. Weekly, Time Out L.A. and XPN/The Key. 2013 will see the band appearing at Montreal Jazz Festival, Summerfest (Milwaukee), Quebec City International Summer Festival, Ottawa Bluesfest, and Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival amongst others.

The band has received wide exposure through the use of their song “Feels So Good” in the theatrical trailer for the movie “Last Vegas” starring Robert DeNiro, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Kline. The trailer began airing July 22nd, 2013 and will run up through the movie’s release date in November, 2013.

The band has also gained a new fanbase by way of their cover of the Grateful Dead’s “New Speedway Boogie”, which was chosen by The Dead as one of the top covers of their “Dead Covers Project”. The band is being featured by The Dead on their website (dead.net) for the month of July 2013.

While never trying to simply emulate the great masters, the band have found their own fresh take on the music and can best be described as a group giving a 21st century nod to a timeless art form.

Hi-Rez returns with a brand new mixtape, ‘Product Of My Environment’. The tape features 14 brand new tracks with guest appearances from the likes of Emilio Rojas, Shizzy Six, Kyle Dion, Anonymuz and Tha Joker. Production on the project is handled by a number of individuals including Johnny Juliano, Rekstarr, Brandon Clark and more.
